Mid-Term Paper:

Find five artists/designers/architects on the home page of this blog that you connect with and write a one page essay for each individual describing why you like his or her work. You may address the artists entire ouvre but you MUST describe specific pieces in detail. In your essay address the following:

• Give a brief background for each artist, including any information you can find out on how they became an artist. If you choose a living person without extensive biographical data available, you should try to contact them.
• Describe the visual and conceptual aspects of the work, with emphasis on those that you are particularly drawn to and describe why.

Papers must be typed, single spaced, and use 11 point font. Feel free to use pictures, but be sure that your written text occupies more than half the page!
